One Dead, Two Injured in El Monte Bus Accident

On Saturday, March 24, 2012 a bus jumped the curb and struck three people waiting at the bus stop in El Monte, CA. El Monte police said the accident occurred when the driver mistakenly hit the accelerator while trying to park near the intersection of Valley Boulevard and Mountain View Road.
