"Good Samaritan" Killed by Jewelry Robbers

In Victorville, California today, a good Samaritan was shot and killed by three men suspected of robbing a jewelry store. Allegedly, the man noticed the robbers escaping and attempted to follow them when one of the men shot at him. The man was taken to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later. According to police, the three men entered the indoor swap meet and approached the jewelry vendors. At least two of the suspects are thought to have been armed at the time. Police are continuing to search for the three men because they fled the scene.
It is unfortunate that a man had to lose his life simply because he was trying to do the right thing.
